No, recently, SAIC-GM Chevrolet brand announced that a new generation of explorer Plus will be officially launched at the April Auto Show. It is worth mentioning that the RS version will pay more attention to daily road driving, while the Activ version will pay more attention to off-road orientation. At the same time, the two models will also be equipped with different styles of wheels and tires to better match their own performance.

In terms of interior, Chevrolet Explorer Plus will be equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, with an 11-inch digital dashboard and an 11.3-inch central control screen. Overall, it looks more scientific than the cash. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with Chevrolet’s latest driver assistance and safety system to strengthen its competitiveness in intelligent driving.

In terms of power, at present, the overseas version of the new Explorer is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The maximum output power of the new car is 177 horsepower and the maximum torque is 275 Nm. In the future, the domestic version is expected to be equipped with plug-in hybrid system. Of course, this is not to say that there is no pure fuel version in the domestic version, but a new version will be added. Everyone should pay attention here.

In terms of sales volume, at present, the domestic Explorer model has not been replaced for seven years, so in the last year, it only handed over a sales report card of 9989 new cars. Obviously, such sales volume is not enough to occupy a dominant position in the market and master the right to speak, so the brand-new explorer Plus is coming.

In terms of price, the current price of the explorer is 1849-239,900 yuan, and the terminal has a discount of about 50,000-60,000 yuan, which means that new cars can be bought at a price of 130,000 yuan or 140,000 yuan. What is even more surprising is that the number of explorers in some areas has actually dropped to more than 110,000, and the preferential margin is huge. Can you stand it?

But even so, consumers in the same price range can still buy such high-quality cars as CR-V,/,and Song PLUS DM-i, Geely and so on in domestic brands.

Therefore, the Chevrolet brand, which has been gradually marginalized in the domestic market, will undoubtedly face greater market competition pressure. This is also the biggest reason why SAIC-GM Chevrolet brand is easy to appear in the domestic market in April after the brand-new Explorer car series was released in overseas markets in January, because the competition between the automobile markets is not waiting for people at present.
